Will my originals stay intact?

Lighten creates separate results on your device. Your originals remain unchanged. Save or share the results when ready.

Does a Live Photo keep its motion?

Lighten processes the still and motion resources as a pair while keeping their original format and dimensions. If the device or settings cannot preserve them, the app explains why.

Why did the file not meet my size limit?

The picture, sound, duration and preserved information must meet your requirements. Adjust the compression preference or size limit. Exact dimensions and confirmed framing will not change silently.

Where are results stored?

Unsaved results stay in the app until you delete them. Temporary results saved to Photos or Files may be cleared after 24 hours; externally saved files are unaffected.

How do I restore Pro?

Choose Restore purchases in Settings using the Apple Account used for the purchase. One non-consumable Pro unlock covers photos and videos. The Apple purchase sheet shows the actual price.
